These activities are for children in the highly structured and semi-structured (“practice”) phases of Stage 1 of the treatment and are designed to be used in consultation/with the guidance of the child’s speech pathologist.

This scripted and no-prep 35-page resource is designed to help speech pathologists to introduce the Westmead Program to families of children who stutter and to start practising syllable timed speech. It features:
* multiple speech model recordings;
* several structured speech exercises, including carrier phrase prompts with pictures, picture description tasks, questions aligned with Marion Blank’s 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Levels of questioning, procedure prompts, ‘Would you rather…?’ questions, and a story generation task;

Our three-page Stuttering and Fluency Wellness Snapshot is designed to measure what matters to school-aged clients.
Based on outcomes measured in peer-reviewed research (e.g. Andrews et al., 2016), our self-administered snapshot measures the client’s happiness and satisfaction with speech fluency, social talking experiences and avoidance, and the results of problem-solving efforts in everyday situations.
